The Sculpture Tail - A Great day out!

If you haven't been before, you should definitely put this event in your diary. The Sculpture Trail makes for a lovely and rewarding day out. And you don't even need to have an interest in sculpture to enjoy it.

Local villagers open up their wonderful and exciting gardens to the public to display, in sympathetic surroundings, sculptures created by artists who use this platform to exhibit,  promote and to sell their art.

This year, in twelve garden locations in the village, along a country trail of nearly three miles, Bergh Apton will encourage sculptors to show works that ask how we balance the needs of mankind against those of the other species with which we share this Earth, and the needs of the planet itself.

This a perfect opportunity to get out on your bicycles or take a gentle walk through the countryside. However, if exercise is a problem, local transport will ferry you around the trail for free so that you can stop and admire all the gardens and take in the local hospitality in this beautiful and peaceful area of Norfolk. Refreshments and homemade comestibles are available on route. So come and enjoy!
