The History of
Thurton and Bergh Apton Players

Thurton and Bergh Apton players were first formed in 1978. Their first ever production was the ever popular farce, "Sailor Beware" and was directed by Ray Wharton, who has been the resident director ever since. After twelve years producing many successful plays , the Thurton and Bergh Apton Players had a crack at their first pantomime. Since then they have gone from strength to strength and now specialise only in full blown musicals. With a wealth of talent and experience, their shows are always well polished and are always well supported by the local communities. 2003 marked their 25th Anniversary.
